Barret Brown Indictment

Meet the Journalist Who Connected the Dots Between Wikileaks, Edward Snowden, and the NSA
"Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed: everything else is public relations."
Barret Brown - "Real" Journalist
Barrett Brown is a journalist imprisoned without bail who is facing over 100 years of prison time for posting a hyper link to a public forum. He had been writing about several NSA contractors [mainly HBGary] similar to Booz Allen Hamilton and set up a Wikipedia-like site ProjectPM, for crowd-sourced analysis of the documents released by Anonymous after several hacking attacks. So in a nut shell the Obama administration is charging him with the crime of being an actual journalist. George Orwell once said on this matter:
"Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed: everything else is public relations."
Barret Brown, Glenn Greenwald, Julian Assange and a few others are last of their kind in America. President "Can you Hear Me Now" Obama is not having any of that despite running on a promise to be the most transparent administration in US history. So he is having the book thrown at Barret Brown so other people don't get the strange idea that being a journalist isn't just printing press releases and actually holding those in power to account.

Barret Brown Indictment.
